Smartphones market of Ukraine. The short analysis.
As of September 2016
At the end of 2013 there were over 25 million mobile phone users in Ukraine.
The market of Ukrainian mobile providers was segmented at the end of 2013 in the following way:
1. Kyivstar – 11,22 million users.
2. MTS Ukraine – 9,21 million users.
3. Life:) – 4,52 million users.
4. Intertelekom – 1,012 million users.
5. PeopleNet – 0,88 million users.
6. Trimob – 0,522 million users.
Only in the fourth quarter of 2015 about 1,3 million smartphones were imported into Ukraine, that means an increse in 3,5 percent compared to the same period in 2014. In 2015 the part of smartphones among mobile communication tools made up 58 percent.
Concerning smartphones, the following brands are leaders in Ukraine:
1. Lenovo (25 % of users).
2. Apple iPhone (17% of users).
3. Samsung (15% of users).
